Just about one year ago, on August 6, 2021, the Manning-Render Family opened the door to Booksweet for the first time and hoped for the best for our business — and our community. Together, readers purchased over 50 new books for BMR to distribute to libraries, community centers, schools, shelters, and Black-owned businesses across Washtenaw county through Booksweet’s holiday season Giving Tree in support of Black Men Read. Thank you!
