May is Mental Health Awareness Month, an opportunity to learn more about mental health, join advocacy efforts, and support community mental health resources.

This May, support Michigan Medicine’s Healing Reads fundraiser to resource their adult and pediatric psychiatric inpatient unit libraries with books and mental health resources. These books will enrich and support patients during their hospital stays — and throughout their healing journey.

The Joseph and Karen Krantz Family Charitable Foundation is offering a $10,000 matching gift challenge as part of this fundraiser during the month of May in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.

Team Booksweet worked with Michigan Medicine and the foundation to hand select a curated list of healing reads for this effort. Booksweet offers a 20% discount on bulk orders (20+ copies), an action that we are eager to apply to this effort.

We love how this fundraiser invites all of us to rise up in support of community members in their time of need. Thank you so much for supporting mental health, healing, and wellness.

We are also incredibly grateful to the Joseph and Karen Krantz Family Charitable Foundation for offering this unique dollar-for-dollar matching opportunity in support of our community — and for choosing to partner with Booksweet.
