DESCRIPTION:3/22: Allyship Workshop Launch Event with Erin Dewsbury-Ribeiro \nErin Dewsbury-Ribeiro\, author of the recent biography Dreaming in Color: An Allyship Journey\, will join us at Booksweet to describe her allyship workshop series\, to include an overview and discussion of the upcoming series! \nDreaming in Color: Allyship workshops with Erin Dewsbury-Ribeiro\, hosted by Booksweet. \nErin will be hosting an ongoing allyship workshop series in 2026\, with monthly meetings at Booksweet beginning in February! \nWho’s the educator? \nAs a first-time author\, I’m thrilled to bring my lifelong love of learning\, storytelling\, and human connection to the page. With over two decades of experience in project management\, sales\, and human resources—particularly in training\, learning\, and development—I’ve spent my career helping people grow\, lead\, and thrive. Now\, I’m channeling that same energy into writing. \nMy journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion\, both personally and professionally. As the founder of The Power of Inclusivity LLC\, a DEI practitioner and workshop facilitator\, I advocate for inclusive spaces where every voice is heard and valued. I’m also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach\, passionate about helping individuals uncover their unique talents and lead with authenticity. \nMulticultural by nature and curious by design\, I’ve worked across borders and languages—including Japanese and German—and believe that stories are one of the most powerful tools we have to build empathy and understanding. Whether I’m coaching teams\, leading workshops\, or diving into a new book\, I’m always chasing the next spark of insight. \nDreaming in Color: An Allyship Journey is the next chapter in my journey—a reflection of the lessons\, curiosities\, and passions that have guided me so far.
